The Person Behind the Work

About Zachery Long — Security-First Web Design

I started Aspired Websites because I kept seeing the same problem — small businesses and law firms paying thousands for cookie-cutter websites that didn’t convert and weren’t secure.

My background is in cybersecurity. I hold a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and a CISSP certification — the gold standard in the security industry. I bring that same security-first mindset to every website I build.

Based in San Antonio, TX and Atlanta, GA, I work directly with every client — no outsourcing, no handoffs, no disappearing after launch.

When you hire Aspired Websites, you get someone who actually understands what it means to protect a business online.

Why This Matters

Most Web Designers Don’t Think About Security. I Do.

Your Website Is a Front Door

Every contact form, every intake submission, every visitor interaction is a potential security exposure. We build with that in mind — not as an afterthought.

Law Firms Have Ethical Obligations

State bar rules require attorneys to take reasonable measures to protect client data online. Your website is part of that obligation, not separate from it.

Monthly Security Audits — Included

Every maintenance plan includes monthly automated security scans. Not an upsell. Standard. Because it should be.

Credentials

Verify Any Of This Yourself

Anyone can put letters after their name on a website. Here’s where to check.

CISSP — (ISC)²

Certified Information Systems Security Professional. It requires five years of paid security experience across multiple domains, a supervised exam, an endorsement from an existing member, and ongoing continuing education to keep.

M.S. Cybersecurity

A master’s degree in cybersecurity — the academic side of the same discipline: cryptography, secure architecture, risk, and incident response.

Degree verification is available through the issuing institution on request.

What this actually means for you: security decisions get made during the build rather than bolted on afterwards. It does not mean your rankings improve because of it — that’s not how search works, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

Fit

Who This Is For — And Who It Isn’t

We’re A Good Fit If

  • You’re a law firm or a small business where one client is worth more than the build
  • You want to own the site outright rather than rent it
  • Your website has a job to do — intake, bookings, being found
  • You’d rather hear “you don’t need that” than be upsold
  • You value being able to reach the person who actually built it

We’re Probably Not If

  • You need a single page with your hours — a $16/month builder is genuinely better value
  • You need it live next week; a proper build takes about six weeks
  • You want guaranteed rankings — nobody can honestly promise those
  • You want the cheapest possible option; we’re not it
  • You need a large in-house team on retainer — that’s an agency, not us

Not sure which side you’re on? Ask — we’ll tell you honestly, including when the answer costs us the work. See also our insights, where the pricing article says the same thing at length.
